Review on The Movement of Bed Load Particles in Non-Uniform Sediment

Since the 20th century, many scholars have done a lot of research on the movement law of bedload particles. The existing theory of bedload movement is basically based on uniform sediment, while the theory of non-uniform sediment movement is mostly based on uniform sediment theory. Since Gilbert's classical flume test, a great deal of research results have been achieved in theoretical analysis and experimental research. Bed load transport model has been established based on the mechanism of sediment movement, fully considering the interaction between water and sediment, accurately grasping the law of bed load and sediment movement, and statistical law of particle micro-movement. It is possible to avoid various unreasonable factors from the mechanism.
