Sensor system based Non-Invasive System to Measure Glucose Level in Human Body

the typical way of blood sugar measurement is to collect a drop of blood by pricking the finger tip and analyzing it. This method requires new prick on the tip of finger for every measurement. Even though the continuous blood glucose monitoring is very important for blood glucose level control and management, it can be invasive (with penetrating the skin) and inconvenient especially during daily life. The currently available Glucometers which can be used by the patient at home are invasive and costlier which needs fresh testing strips for each test. Non-invasive (without penetrating the skin) glucose monitoring techniques have got extensive research, leveraging techniques such as infrared spectroscopy. We introduce a noninvasive glucose measuring system that detects the sugar level in the blood with the help of NIR spectroscopy.
