In an inductively coupled power transfer (ICPT) system, the sensitivity of the coupling coefficient to position makes it necessary to operate on devices with almost no offset. In this paper, an anti-offset ICPT device has been proposed, which has a good anti-offset effect. The device consists of DD coil, S/LCC compensated resonant converter and a DC-DC converter. In order to verify the analysis and design a 1 kW prototype with a 200 mm gap was fabricated and tested. From DC 40V input to DC 40 V output, the total efficiency is 82.3%.
