摘要

This study is done to observe the effect of substrate and its thickness on the performance of the metamaterial absorber. Metal-dielectric stack metamaterial structure is designed for alternating layers of silver and silicon dioxide. It is observed that gold provided better absorbance than silicon dioxide. And more the thickness of substrate more absorbance offers by the proposed metamaterial absorber.
