In view of the problems such as inaccurate, low scope of application, low-security and uncertain development prospects of traditional electricity meter for electric vehicle DC charging point, this paper introduces a design project of Dualcore electric energy meter design for EV DC charging point based on OIML R46 international recommendations. The system adopts “SOC + MCU” dual-core design, not only meet the new requirements of IR46, but also meet the future development direction of smart grid. The practical engineering application shows that the meter accurate measurement, high security and infinite market prospects.
