Conclusions: FNP is a promising fabrication technique, previously limited to the formation of hydrophobic-core nanoparticles. We show here production of polymeric vesicles, which can be loaded with hydrophobic and hydrophilic molecules. This system is scalable from research to clinical quantities, suggesting a use in the production of vaccine formulations that package hydrophilic and hydrophobic adjuvants and antigens via a "one-pot" fabrication process.
