Transformation of the subjective magnitudes of noise discomfort of the micro commercial vehicles into their corresponding rating scales

A tentative transformation equation between the subjective magnitudes using AME method and the ranks using RS method was proposed based on the empirical data in this study. The ranks in the rating scale could be predicted from the magnitudes obtained by the AME using the proposed equation with small errors. It is possible to build a rating system of the comfort related to noise and vibration for the micro commercial vehicles based on the quantified values from the ME method.
