In this study, a detailed numerical investigation on the evolution of minimum-surface featured single-mode interface accelerated by planar shock is presented according to the previous experimental results. The interface evolution is clarified; the amplitude growth rates of minimum surface and the typical 2D and 3D single-mode interfaces are compared. It is found that the amplitude growth rate can be significantly affected by the principal curvatures. It can be seen that the contraction effect by the incident shock dominates the early stage of the minimum-surface featured interface evolution, the complex wave pattern delays the linear stage, and its linear stage lasts for a longer period than that in the 3D+ and 2D counterparts. Besides, the simulated amplitude growth rates of the three interfaces generally confirm the validity of the theoretical model proposed in the previous work.
