A tunable gyrator-capacitor active inductor

摘要

A new circuit solution for a gyrator-capacitor active inductor implementation is proposed. The gyrator is implemented using two instances of a ±90% wide range fine tuning transconductor. The transconductor is built around an unbalanced current mirror used as tune element. A DC current is injected into a resistor in order to create an unbalance on the V_GSloop of the current mirror. The equivalent inductance of the structure can be adjusted from 1mH to 450mH.
