Research on spatial differentiation and correlation analysis of residential land in Wuhan

Analyzing the spatial distribution of residential land and its spatial distribution relations with residential facilities and transportation facilities is of great reference value for the regional optimal allocation of human settlements and the balanced development of human settlements. This paper took Wuhan City Development Zone as an example, and used the sixth census data and survey data of urban land use status in 2014 as the main data source. The spatial distribution characteristics of per capita residential land were studied by the method of spatial autocorrelation analysis. On this basis, the spatial distribution relations of per capita residential land with supporting facilities, commercial, industrial and traffic land was analyzed by using the contingency table. The results showed that: (1) In the spatial distribution, per capita residential land showed strong positive spatial correlation, the global Moran's I index value reached 0.53 on the whole, the aggregation degree is high; most of the regions mainly showed “high - high” and “low - low” spatial aggregation in the local area; “high - high” spatial agglomeration areas are mainly distributed in the urban suburbs, and “low - low” spatial aggregation areas are mainly distributed in the urban center. (2) In reference to the extent of the impact on the distribution pattern of population, traffic land> facilities land> commercial land> industrial land, indicating that the population intensity has a higher spatial correlation with traffic land and facilities land.
