This poster presentation reports on mechanism and extended concept about the phenomenon to appear hydrogen peak at around 300 to 400 °C region in Thermal Desorption Spectroscopy (TDS). Phenomenon to appear long-disputed hydrogen peak at around 300 to 400 °C in TDS: When hydrogen content is measured in TDS, hydrogen peak at around 300 to 400 °C often appears in rust-removed steel sample of intentionally-corroded steel samples, for example, by wet-and-dry cyclic corrosion test, or by exposing atmospheric condition near seashore. The hydrogen peak at around 300 to 400 °C does not appears in cathodically-charged steel sample. The origin of such hydrogen peak has been a long-disputed question at issue.
