SWOT Analysis on the Development of Maglev Transportation

In the "13th Five-Year" Conference, National People's Congress Wang Zhan suggested that maglev be incorporated into China's high-speed rail technology strategic reservation. Maglev transport is an emerging, environmental technology and has improved research and industry from all respect. From the method of SWOT analysis, the paper analyzed the strength, weakness, opportunity, and threat of maglev transport from the aspect of the supply of maglev transport's industry, infrastructure, technology application, and market, as well as the demand of maglev transport. Finally, some proposals for the development of maglev transport are made.
