To determine the internal deformation and damage mechanism of asphalt pavement materials under tension, a double punch test which can better reflect the tension state of asphalt mixture is introduced in this paper. The repetitive loading test of asphalt mixture was carried out by using computerized tomography (CT) and scanning technology synchronously. The movement law of the aggregate and mortar in the asphalt mixture, the movement trajectory of the internal structure particles, and the mortar in the asphalt mixture are collected by the CT technology. The displacement locus of the different loading stage is calculated. The results show that the displacement trajectory is small and almost negligible at the initial stage of loading. As the loading progresses, the displacement gradually increases, and the trajectory of the particles and mortar moves gradually. For the double punch test, the calculated results are in agreement with the measured data. The limit analysis of the cylinder double punch test is carried out, and the calculated results are in agreement with the measured data.
