摘要

A three-section coupled cavity TWT is under development for avionic application. The design parameters point out for a TWT in X-band with an high average power, high power, high efficiency, high duty, wide band, low weight and rugged structure. Data are presented which show as preliminary results of simulations are in agreement with the tests on each RF section. The simulations have been done with a software developed in house for the evaluation of the impedance interaction and use of CST suite has been done for the prediction of the dispersion diagram.
