Using Scattering Matrix Analysis Method (SMAM), a high-power pill-box-type window without ghost mode is designed and simulated with a VSWR less than 1.1 in its frequency band (2.8-3.8GHz). Furthermore, the relative convergence of this scattering matrix analysis method has also been analyzed. The results show that the mode number no less than 100 is proposed for this complex window. Finally, the S-parameters calculated by this method are compared with that from CST simulation and the results are found to be in quite accordance. Worth noticing, comparing with CST, this method requires less memory.
