This paper deals with wind energy conversion system (WECS). The system includes essentially wind turbine, permanent magnetic synchronous generator and power converters. All these parts have been modeled. In addition a maximum power point tracking (MPPT) method is presented. We have been used a specific controller to maintain a constant level voltage at the DC bus. An LCL type filter has been used to obtain a perfect sinusoidal signal, after the inverter. Although, we have been present a control of active and reactive power. All the parts of system have been simulated on Matlab-Simulink software and the results are presented at the end of paper.
