In this paper the problem of the fuzzy control nonlinear stochastic system is addressed. Firstly, an Interval Type-2 Takagi Sugeno fuzzy model, that represents an extended version of the Type-1 Takagi Sugeno fuzzy logic system, was proposed for the purpose of the description of the nonlinearity. Next, refereing to the parallel distributed compensation's concept (PDC), an Interval Type-2 fuzzy controller is developed. The design of the above controller is performed with a manner ensuring the closed loop stability. Stability conditions of the Interval Type-2 Takagi Sugeno fuzzy model based (IT2 TS FMB) control system are presented using the linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). In order to evaluate the performance of the suggested design method, simulation results performed on benchmark example are finally given.
