摘要

This paper presents an investigation of the effects of cutting parameters on cutting power and energy efficiency in Computer numerical control (CNC) turning process. Firstly, both independent and dependent variables affecting determination of process parameters are introduced. The energy characteristic with respect to independent variables in CNC turning is analyzed afterwards. Then, the energy statistical models of cutting power and energy efficiency are established by using industrial data, followed by detail analyzes of parametric influence on cutting power and specific energy consumption.
