摘要

The purpose of this work is to analyses the potential of solar for space and water heating application in a commercial building in winters. In this research, solar based water and space heating system is designing with the help of TRNSYS software and commercial building is designed on TRNSBuild according to climatic conditions of Islamabad Pakistan. Our designed system has solar flat plat collector, storage tanks, auxiliary heater, divider and pumps. Auxiliary heater is a gasifier which runs with the help of biogas for completing heat demand in cloudy days and for sudden heating requirements. The system is designed for a commercial building with working hours 0900-1700 hrs. In this work, we are analyzing the effect of solar fraction on seasonal and monthly basis with collector area, primary energy saving with the help of collector area and storage size, achieved room temperature after heating, and hot water temperature and its utilization. After analysis of our system we will be able to propose an optimum system with capacity to meet the daily heating requirement of occupants in building.
