摘要

Based on the classical grain growth theory, microstructure evolution during grain growth at different sintering temperature and for different holding time is achieved using computer simulation with modified Monte Carlo model. The model is verified by the grain growth of porous AlO ceramics in the sintering process. The results show that when the grain growth index was 2.95, the grain growth tendency in the simulation were in good agreement with that in the experiment. The modified Monte Carlo reflects the physical process of grain growth more reliably.
