摘要

The paper focuses on the potential of the Russian Federation that has been `ordained' by its advantageous location and geographical position to play the role of the international transport transit corridor. To solve this fundamental task the authors suggest creating a unified integral transit transport system. On the basis of optimal transport multimodality and the concept of high-speed trans- and ultrasonic land vacuum maglev transport (VMLT) this system is supposed to integrate the whole complex of both existing and future innovative means of transport (`atmospheric', maglev, flying boats, underwater, ground effect vehicles, flying containers, airships, ESTOLAS, etc.). In the integral transit transport system vacuum VMLT principle can serve as a basis for implementing a number of economically efficient and breakthrough transport business concepts and technologies. Different transport systems are compared in terms of an integral transport system.
