Visualization technology has been widely used in many fields, but research in the field of electromagnetic is still in the exploratory stage. Based on the introduction of electromagnetic field visualization process, this paper studies the visualization method of electromagnetic scalar data and vector data, especially focuses on the analysis and optimization of the ray projection algorithm, which reduces the computational cost, improves the drawing speed and greatly improves the drawing of the electromagnetic vector data. Finally, the visualization of electromagnetic scalar and vector data is realized by using classic MC algorithm and optimized ray projection algorithm on open source 3D rendering engine OSG. The experimental results show that this method can effectively improve the rendering of 3D electromagnetic field.
