摘要

The issue of traffic signal timing coordination is investigated, in this paper, for optimization of bidirectional green wave on urban arterial road to obtain the wider bandwidth of the green wave, the reduced average delay and the low stopping rate. Particle swarm optimization algorithm is employed to deal with the multi-objective optimization problem, and simulation studies on a sample road were made to verify the effectiveness of the proposed strategy.
