摘要

To tackle the fundamental problem between the explosions of knowledge and the limited study hours, we have been designing and developing a telecommunication engineering pipeline and carefully designed different modules of the curriculum to develop the system capacity of our students. The “principles of communications” course is one of the fundamental major courses in telecommunication engineering. In this poster, we outline some design ideas on instrumenting a laboratory system by utilizing the emerging software defined radio platforms to improve students' hands-on experiences in effectively learning rather abstract concepts, system models and modulation methods in principles of communications. We are motivated to receive the comments and suggestions from the technical education community on our proposed pedagogy approach.
