A study of the Internet of Things in the oil and gas industry

With growing and evolving the Internet, a recent communication paradigm, the Internet of Things (IoT), has gained many attractions from different researchers and scientific communities. The basic idea of this concept is enabling a variety of things or objects to interact with each other and cooperate with their neighbors to reach common goals, such as sensors, actuators, Radio-Frequency Identification (RFID) tags, and mobile phones [1].
