Results of the temperature and composition adjustment for the compensation of modeling errors in the process of obtaining maleic anhydride (C_2H_2(CO)_2O) by means of the partial oxidation of benzene in a tubular type reactor are presented in this work. For process characterization, a 1% step change in reactor jacket temperature was made after 5 s of the operation, the molar flow responses of maleic anhydride and the process temperature were obtained. Obtained results were adjusted using an uncertainty method to compensate the errors for temperature and composition.
