Biometric systems with a single identifier often face various challenges such as paucity of secrecy, non-absoluteness of samples and, hoaxing attacks on stored data, etc. Thus, we introduce a multimodal biometric system on JAVA platform, which integrates face recognition, fingerprint verification, and speech recognition for making a personal identification system, thus increasing security and secrecy of user data. The input for Face detection is taken in Java using Haar cascades and Content based image retrieval technique is used for Recognition process. The Speech module is implemented in Android, which when authenticated, proceeds further for finger print recognition using a fingerprint module which has an inbuilt Digital signal processor for high speed and accuracy. Further, this paper is to propose the integration of these Biometric technology with automobile lock applications and controlling the automobile system using Speech input after all the three biometric features of a person are authenticated step-by-step, thus visualizing the future possibilities of Biometric Authentication and its applications in vehicular world.
