Review of personal identification based on near infrared vein imaging of finger

摘要

The finger vein recognition system has the advantages of high efficiency, stability, hidden, etc. So it has become a new frontier topic in the generation biometric technology. This paper reviewed the methods and steps of 2D and 3D finger vein recognition system. The article begins with the steps of the recognition of the finger vein, the following four steps: image acquisition, preprocessing, vein extraction and matching are introduced. Meanwhile, summarized the methods used by scholars from all walks of life. Then the performance evaluation of the finger vein system is introduced. Finally, put forward the existing problems of the technology and has carried on the forecast to the future development tendency.
