The City of Polerborough is located in Central Ontario, Canada. 125 km (78 mi) northeast of Toronto. According to the 2011 Consus, the population of the City of Peterborough was 78,698. Through various plants & policies, the City is committed to making itself a more walkable community. In 2002 the City of Peterborough developed a comprehensive Sidewall Policy requiring that sidewalks be provided on both sides al all new and reconstructed streets.
