Improved delay-dependent stability condition for delayed T-S fuzzy systems via convex analysis approach

This paper consider the problem of stability analysis for T-S fuzzy systems with time-varying delay. By applying the idea of scalar function and augmented vectors, dealing with the positiveness of a functional, a novel simple Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional (LKF) which contains more-fold integral terms is established. Then, by employing reciprocally convex approach and the quadratic convex combination, some less conservative delay-derivative-dependent stability criteria is obtained. Different from previous results, convex analysis approach is used to take the useful terms (which are ignored in previous methods) into account, it may further improve the stability criteria. Finally, a numerical example is provided to show the effectiveness and improvement of the proposed condition.
