This paper will address the finite-time stability of a class of switched linear singular systems with dwell time switching. Such a dwell time is an arbitrarily pre-specified constant rather than a one by computing. First, based on the dynamic decomposition technique, the studied switched linear singular system is equivalently converted to a reduced-order switched normal system together with the state jumps. Secondly, by constructing multiple piecewise time-varying Lyapunov functions, sufficient conditions are obtained to guarantee that, under the dwell time switching, the state trajectories of the studied systems do not exceed a certain region over a pre-specified finite-time interval. A numerical example illustrates the effectiveness of the proposed method.
