Application of cophase traction power supply system on high-speed electrified railway had solved many power quality problems. Combined cophase supply system with a single-phase and three-phase modular will be widely used in electrified railway because of its unique advantages. Reasonable control of the converter which is an important part of the combined cophase supply system closely linked to the compensation effect of cophase compensation devices. Traditional dual-loop control structure fit for the cophase power supply system well, but hysteresis control method has the disadvantage that the switching frequency is not fixed within a frequency cycle and electromagnetic interference do great harm to the outer world. Deadbeat control method was proposed in this paper based on the traditional control method. The MATLAB/Simulik based simulation analysis of the combined cophase supply system shows that the dynamic response and output waveform improved a lot even at low switching frequency by using the deadbeat control method.
