摘要

The accurate per-phase equivalent electric circuit modeling of an electric motor is a crucial requirement for the prediction of the motor operating points and efficiency as well as for motor control. In this paper, a methodology based on a differential evolution algorithm is proposed for an accurate estimation of a three-phase, squirrel-cage, induction motor equivalent circuit parameters, considering the magnetic saturation as well as the skin effect and temperature. Experimental tests have been conducted on an induction motor to validate the proposed methodology, whose solutions are in good agreement with measurements. As an example, this methodology has been used to estimate the winding average temperature, showing a fair accuracy with respect to experimental measurements.
