摘要

In this paper a new double-error-correction and triple-error-detection code as a modified BCH code is proposed. It is demonstrated by simulation experiments that the time delay for error correction of 2-bit errors is smaller for the proposed code as for a traditional BCH code with the same number of check bits and the same code distance 6. The new code is of interest for 2-bit error correction for memories.
