摘要

The popularity of renewable energy sources is increasing. It is a reason for development of technologies, particularly for micro hydropower plant. The paper presents control solutions for induction generator. The main goal of control is stabilization of the output voltage and frequency in island mode by variable load especially. One of the most popular solutions of voltage control is a switching of fixed capacitor banks depending on load conditions. Nowadays semiconductor back-to-back converters and static reactive power compensators are also widely used for voltage control purposes.
