Measurement and data logging system for specialized high voltage equipment

This paper presents a dedicated measurement system that allows data logging and analysis during experimental studies in a specialized high-voltage installation, powered by industrial grade voltage. The main aspects considered and discussed for the developed measurement system includes: means of galvanic insulation; required resolution and speed; measurement techniques. The paper presents a model of the measurement system, its design and an experimental prototype which is verified with a set of sample measurements.
