Nowadays, the development of artificial super-hydrophobicsurfaces has led to several technological advances such as selfcleaningsurfaces, anti-icing surfaces, anti-fouling surfaces andreduced-drag surfaces. A key feature of many synthetic superhydrophobicsurfaces is the topographical pattern imprinted onthem in the form of arrays of micron-sized pillars. In this study, atwo-dimensional Multiphase Lattice Boltzmann code isdeveloped for modelling the spreading of a droplet on a surfacewith two ridges. This paper reports an effect of the geometricparameters of the textured surfaces on different outcomes of thewetting front during the spreading of the droplet.
