The explosion of Internet traffic mainly due to multimedia services is bringing real challenges to Internet Service Providers (ISPs). Content Delivery Networks (CDN) aim to face this traffic growth by replicating content as close as possible to end-users. Nevertheless, several issues related to the localization of CDN nodes are involved in the CDN design. The goal of the CDN optimization is to increase the volume of traffic supported by the installed infrastructure.
