Discussion on the Intension and Value of Design Techniques of Chinese Character in Word Stock

摘要

Chinese characters in the word stock are upright and foursquare, symmetrical and balanced, ups and downs, structure-rigorous, simplified and traditional, carrying the richest Chinese culture and representing the highest level of front design. The Chinese characters in the computer's word stock is a new form of character art in the digital information age, which not only meet the demand of practical reading, but also bring us infinite space to create and design. Moreover, they contain many flexible technique intentions and values. Every typeface in different periods has their own characteristics, they also has their distinct personality, temperament, characters structure and suitability for reading of design. Therefore, this paper conducts a research on the intension and value of Chinese character design in the word stock, which aims at providing practical references for the modern digital Chinese characters design.
