This paper presents the design of a versatile current mode active block namely, dual x current conveyor (DXCCII). The proposed DXCCII is capable of working under ultra low voltage low power (ULVLP) environment. The design uses floating gate (FG) technique and modified flip voltage follower (FVF) based differential pair to achieve operation under extremely low supply voltage and near rail to rail dynamic range. The ULVLP DXCCII is designed using 0.18μm technology parameters and simulated in spice software to verify its performance. The circuit works at a supply voltage of ±0.4V and exhibit a power dissipation of only 67μW. The proposed active block is suitable for biomedical signal processing.
