As the driving task is diversified from singularity, the driver's mental load is increased with the coordinated development between intelligent traffic and information technology. To carry our two different styles for test experiment, different kinds of music test and composite driving test mixed with principal-subordinate driving tasks, three typical tasks have been done in the driver's lab as examples by adopting driving simulator, including listening to the music, voice communication and logic calculation. To disclose the different significance for driving activities, with music or without, nonparametric verification method was used in this text. And the experiment results show that with different music types and different driver's personal temperament conditions, the driving safety coefficient will be decreased by an improper music type. The statistical method is used to compare and analyze the physiologic indexes, power spectrum density for heart rate variance and brain wave load level was included. The experiment result shows that it has a significant difference. During the principle and subordinate driving tasks, the subjective pressure sensed by the driver is significantly increased, and it is proportional to the task difficulty. This achievement can be used as a reference and comprehensive evaluation for road traffic safety.
