摘要

The weapons and equipment are demanded to have strong maneuverability on the modern battlefield. The braking distance of the linear motor for electromagnetic launcher should be short to meet the launching demand. For now, the majority of brake methods are time consuming, and braking distances are long. Under the circumstances, a linear permanent magnet motor short distance blend brake system for electromagnetic launcher is proposed, which consists of reverse connect brake, Halbach permanent magnet eddy current brake and hydraulic brake. Finally, to validate the design, a associated simulation model is built, and the proposed method has been verified by the simulated results.
