The density standard liquid at 2329kg/m3 (DSL-2329) consisting the mixture of 1, 2, 3-tribromopropane and 1, 2-dibromoethane is commonly used as working liquid for measurement of density comparisons of silicon single crystal samples by the pressure-of-flotation method. The accurate measurement on the compressibility coefficient of DSL-2329 plays an important role in the process. A simple and rapid method with a commercial vibrating tube densimeter measuring the density of DSL-2329 at different additional pressures is developed in order to determine the compressibility coefficient of DSL-2329 accurately. The compressibility coefficient of DSL-2329 is calculated by using the data of varying static additional pressures and corresponding densities measured by the vibrating tube densimeter. Two calibration constants of the vibrating tube densimeter are calibrated using highly pure water and air. The compressibility coefficient of DSL-2329 was measured in the additional pressure range between 0MPa and 0.1MPa and in the temperature range from 291.15K to 295.15K. It has been applied to Anton Paar DMA5000 densimeter and the compressibility coefficient was measured as from 5.19×10-10 Pa-1 to 5.31×10-10 Pa-1.
