摘要

Intelligent methods of investigation of windings are one of the methods being introduced more and more nowadays. In this study, we propose an intelligent method for identification of the parameters of the high frequencies and localization of faults in a transformer winding. For this diagnosis, Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) method is used. We validate the approach by comparing our results with the experimental ones. Different cases studies of a transformer winding were considered. The results are agreement and demonstrate the potential of this method.
