In this paper, a novel compact single-pole-double-throw (SPDT) switchable bandpass filter (BPF) realized on substrate integrated suspended line technology (SISL) is presented. A new hybrid resonator is proposed and analyzed, based on which the circuit size has been greatly reduced compared with the conventional one. Controlled by commercial PIN diodes, the on path of the proposed SPDT switch is designed as three-order BPF with center frequency of 1GHz and 30% fractional 3-dB bandwidth. The highest out-of-band rejection is more than 40 dB, What's more, it is more than 20dB from 1.5 to 5GHz. Besides, the isolation of the off path is better than 40dB. Fabricated by SISL technology, self-packaged and compact size and light weight is achieved.
