Consider the problem of diffraction of a plane stationary electromagnetic wave b a nonmagnetic, isotropic, transversely inhomogeneous, and linearly polarized E = (E_r,0,)E_x,0,0),H= 0, H_y,H_z)( polarization) the time dependence is exp(-intωt), with vector of polarization P~(NL)=(P_x~(NL,0), and nonlinearity layered dielectric structure, see Fig. 1.
