Anti-rear-End Collision Safe Running and Its Warning of Vehicle on Highway

摘要

Through the analysis of vehicle braking deceleration process, and in the light of the features of the vehicle rear-end collision on the highway, the practical calculation model on safety gap is established. Then three kinds of different safety gap calculation formula are derived. The relationships between the simulation speed and safety gap were simulated under dry pavement conditions by using Matlab software. The simulation results showed that it satisfied with national requirements for safe operation of motor vehicles. Finally the warning method on safety gap was developed based on the different impact factors.
