摘要

This paper presents an air conditioning inrush current startup simulation apparatus to evaluate the performance of a nanogrid under the use of a wide range of air conditioning (A/C) units. The correlations of factors of the A/C units, including line voltage drop, startup current and startup time increase, are derived and provided as input parameters for the apparatus. The evaluation of the nanogrid under A/C starting conditions and the effects on its power quality, especially the effects to voltage, is presented.
