摘要

We prepared a CsI photocathode which was evaporated onto a 300nm supporting polycarbonate (PC) membrane. The thickness of CsI could be controlled between 100 nm to 1 µm. The influences of deposition speed and deliquescence property on morphology and structure were analyzed. The photoelectric conversion properties of the CsI photocathode were analyzed with Manson x-ray source. The energy spectral response peak value of photocathode was above 3000uA/W calibrated at Beijing synchrotron radiation facility. The photocathode was applied to an x-ray streak camera on SG III facility and distinct x-ray images of the high power laser interaction with gold foams were captured.
