In recent years, mainframes or peripherals have been integrated on mainstream embedded CPU, making these systems easy to use USB for data transmission. With the development of SOPC technology, FPGA has gradually transitioned from a single timing control and signal processing to an embedded CPU at the core of the system. The embedded FPGA platform also has an increasing demand for data transmission using USB. This paper designs an implementation scheme for extending USB host and USB peripherals on the embedded platform, and gives detailed design of hardware and embedded software. It implements and verifies the data transmission function of the host and peripherals.
